August 2008–May 2010.  Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO.  Graduate Research Assistant.  

  • Worked as a research assistant on projects focused on researching and disseminating excellence in occupational therapy education.
  • Supported a systematic mapping research project by designing and developing a custom Microsoft Access database based on the team’s data coding guidelines. Microsoft Access development included using the visual front end as well as developing custom SQL scripts and VB script.
  • Used Excel to manage a manual Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process to move coded research data from an EndNote® repository to Microsoft Access.
  • Provided training and documentation to support the use of the Microsoft Access research tool.
